Hmmm, my current assignment has gone drastically downhill in the last few weeks and is now tulipe whereas it used to be OK (see thread in technical forum about fonts for an example of why).If you find this post offensive, please insert "Chan" before and "tho" after, then it should be OK.

20 mins from home, frequently empty 6th floor corner office, with nice views across the city and of the Black Forest. Client doesn't care what hours I keep, so long as I get the work done (which I do). Last year, when there wasn't enough work to do, I went on a training course at their behest, and immediately gave me a project utilising my new skills. And they thought I was doing them a favour!
Two years so far. Long may it continue.Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!Comment

Bored stupid and have been for 4 months now. Done about 3 days worth of actuall work in that time.
Management have no clue and no desire to actually do anything.
The guy who runs the team I am working with is incompetent.
But it's a decent rate, 20 mins from home and I can go to the gym at lunch time so....."Being nice costs nothing and sometimes gets you extra bacon" - Pondlife.Comment
