this is specialised IT work for an international pharmacutical co. that make panadol, aquafresh and lucozade as well as cold & flu sachets.
the work will be for just 3 months so i was planning on working through my co. How is that taxed? i.e do i pay danish taxes or british?
no plans to relocate to denmark so it will simply be weekly flights, hotels and taxi's rather than renting, settling down etc.
You can get paid into your English company, and only pay English taxes, and not need to register at all (which is by far the best move). If stopped by anyone, just say you're a tourist, which is what every Australian I've met says ;-) And if you don't have a CPR# (NI number) there is fsck all anyone can do or will bother to try and do... You can dodge train tickets, parking fines, the whole shebang.
If your agency insists on using a local accountant to do your taxes, walk away, it's a con.
The train stops practically outside where you work. I actually cycle past your prospective office every morning and evening.
I know rather more than I should lovely lady pharma/chemists who work there. You will be spoiled rotten. ;-)
Hotels up the 'B' line, away from København, are cheaper. Don't bother with taxis, apart from the amusement of finding out just how many ex-pat English drive one round there, mainly from Bradford!
Also your favourite football club is not Brønby ;-)
From what is your description though it makes England appear as a fantastic country. Not sure if this was your intent but hell, Denmark sounds even worse than Switzerland.
I've seen much of the rest of the world. It is brutal and cruel and dark, Rome is the light.

Oh no, according to social scientists people who live in Denmark are the happiest people in the world!

Yes, I have just found out that those statistics are plain rubbish.
The happiest people I have ever met are brasilians who according to the statistics should be at the bottom for many apparent reasons; the happiest people in the world, according to these statistics, the scandinavians, the swiss and some others are the saddest gits on the planets.

Yes, but when in Rome you have to get with the program. So if some loon says the Danes are the happiest in the world you'd better repeat it, and with conviction, when prompted.
