        Of course it is the people who stupidly believed "it is different this time", as well as stupid banks that gave them the money to make these reckless purchases.

        The problem is that this (debt based on inflated assets) represents a big chunk of economy now, so the Govt is likely to screw prudent people like you and me rather than those who made mistake in the first place - my guess they will go for high inflation in hopes it will erode debt base.
