Understanding the meaning of diversity, as you clearly do, you no doubt realise that it means to accept different things along with those with which you are familiar. Not replace one set of ways/beliefs/practices with another. Cos doing that makes us no more diverse than before.

TBH mate, I couldn't give a dancing banana wheter people believe I am the age I say, or not.

I do, however, firmly refuse to let this country go to rat tulip simply because people like you have been brainwashed to the extent that you believe it would be better if we renounced everything we know, all of our traditions, beliefs and values, in favour of someone elses (whomsoever they may be) because it's a trendy thing to be heard to say/seen to do/etc.

It's not wrong to want retain our own sense of identity. As I said before, other countries are proud of the heritage and national identity... why the **** can't we be?

The only conclusion I can come to when trying to define "being British" is that there is no such concept. The French, Germans, Greeks, Italians have a culture, identity that does not hold true in the UK. Now anyone with any background, belief, language or lifestyle is British.

You don't get it, do you? I honestly do accept people from other faiths and backgrounds. I couldn't give a flying fart what race/colour/religion/faith people are. All I want is for people to accept that I (we) may not want to have their 'ways' forced upon us - much as I wouldn't expect a homosexual man to pork (not an anti-Muslim reference) a female, a follower of Islam to take an alcoholic drink, a Hindu to eat a beefburger or a Bhuddist to swat a fly.
