      No, I think he should have been removed. But removed properly, with an international consensus, and maybe a plan post invasion. Instead we got the complete and utter mess we're in now. Was it worth it to get rid of Saddam, no way. Not even close.

            It is clear the middle east is far worse than it ever was, oil is at an all time high, the US is in recession and the UK is at serious terrorist threat.

            What a resounding success!
            The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

            But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”
