    There are more adults not in work in Northumberland than there are "unemployed" in the UK.

      That's the result of communism.

      A few Eastern Europeans I've worked with have pointed this out to me. They've now settled in the UK i.e. brought houses, had children because they see the opportunities for those who want to work are better.
