    Done that.

Called the police back to report that the houseowner called me a 'flucking pr1ck', so all added to the police file as well

        Okay, we have an update.

I arrived home last night, just as two cars parked over my drive, one blovking me in.

I was bricking it - the lodger is the house holders brother. I have dissed not just an Italian with mafia links, but Italian brothers. Great.

There were kids in one of the cars - even they had shaved heads, at the tender age of around 8.... That is not right!

Anyway - thankfully the mafia mob went into the neighbours house for an hour, then left peacefully.

They are now parking on the road on their side, no longer blocking the pavement, and no longer on my side of the road. also the fleet of vehicles is now down from 7 to only 3 - a van and two cars. One outside their houase, two parking outside other peeps house who are so mad that they are also likely to complain, so the police will get the message even more.

The police will move a car causing an obstruction. Else they will not be interested.

Thankfully you are wrong Brillo - they are interested in keeping the peace in my area, hence for some reason have taken a keen interest

The joys of living in a sherry drinking Tory area where even the police are against any chavs indaving!

Wilmslow police featured in the news a few years ago for saying that any African ethnic seen in Wilmslow would be treated with suspicion and presumed to be up to no good.

              Is it still like that?
How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

Oh, yes, it is very much like this.

As is anyone with a Mancunian accent in Wilmslow at 11pm at night - they walk to Wilmslow from Wythenshawe and steal a car to get back home!

My last lodger knew a African lass - she was effectively an illegal immigrant, she married to get the British passport.

There are so few African peeps around that they are bound to stand out around these parts.

Looks like they are also taking the same stance on Italian peeps as well from my recent experience!

What is that lodge type nightclub on the road out of Wilmslow just before you get to the Manchester runway underpass?

It makes me get all nostalgic for the days of effective policing

                      Gosh, that is long gone!

It was the Valley Lodge. The nightclub was below the hotel.

Hotel went to Moat House, in the Moat House demise it is now a Holiday Inn.

Sadly the local cattle market, aka Valley Lodge has long gone!

Used to be called Equivinox for a short time before its demise.... I remember going there with just 7 of us in the whole club!
