How long should I keep the company's documents for?

I keep tax returns and accounts forever.

Rest goes after 6 years.

Normally 6 years is enough for tax records, stated in various places on IR webtulipe. Unless you anticipate being done for criminal offence of tax evasion that is, which has no time limits.

Surely there is a time limit on this, maybe 10 years? Sounds strange that tax evasion has no time limit just like crimes against humanity...
