The 5.5 million to pork a thick fat lassOriginally posted by SallyAnne View Post"at the rate"?
Yeah, good one
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”Comment

They already do that. I vaguely recall a case in Southampton where a lady got into trouble with the taxman for not declaring her earnings from prostitution and was duly made to cough up.Originally posted by Ardesco View PostYou then get to tax the brothel workers/owners. You reclassify the house as a place of business and charge business rates and get them that way. I'm sure they could think of millions of other devious ways to get cash.
The proceeds of crime act has already been used against brothel keepers to seize assets (I think it's more than 2 girls working from the same premises makes it automatically a brothel).Comment
