Hope the flight goes well. I had a bad dream last night about an aircrash.

We took off from somewhere quite warm and tropical. The plane was only 20 seconds or so in to the air, and just over sea at low level when the whole craft spun 360 degrees whilst moving forward and the sea rushed up to meet us. I remember holding Mrs BGG and telling her I loved her, then we hit the water.

I woke up at this point in a cold sweat. I felt edgy all day.
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Remember to go for a dump as you fly over Downing Street.

To give Milan some credit, this has been an entertaining thread.

              G'night.

Well, that was a long thread for a load of old BS.

Only one joke of *any* regard and nobody called milan grandad.

Hey, Grandad, get with the program - don't be so resistant to change you old fart.

                    Lol ! That's actually quite good !

I can see what you've done there. You've personified an adjective, and hence given a new and quite suprising meaning to the preceeding statement when read again in the new context.

I like you and you can be my very special friend from now on.
