    I can only see it as a good thing if they have business analysts over there. Why not? Nobody is safe,I tell you. Only a couple of years ago everybody was saying that we couldn't outsource mainframe as that is too complicated, blah blah.... oh well, now you have plenty of mainframe experts in India too. :-)

    And guess what? More and more business analysts and project managers are coming up as well.....

    The real advantage now is not on cost but the ability of coordinating dispersed teams and make them fully functional and autonomous so that you are able to cover a longer day of activities because of the timezone differences. If you just see outsourcing as only a way for saving money and you think you only need the monkeys, then you are not on the right track.
