I would just milk it and look to move on.
You can't fight globalisation. We need it so 1% of the population can control 50% of the worlds wealth.

What is/isn't outsourced
a. Roles that are usually outsourced:
1. Junior Developers
2. Junior Testers
3. 2nd/3rd line support
b. Roles that can't be outsourced:
1. Project Managers
2. Senior Developers/Testers
3. Business Analysts
(Basically anyone involved or reporting at high level)
c. Areas that can be outsourced:
1. Back-office (mainframe/AS400)
2. Web
3. Anything MS-based
d. Areas that can't be outsourced:
1. Front-office (especially trading systems)
2. Most CRM
3. System security
(Basically, anything sensitive enough to be close to home)
Hope the above helps - from what I have seen here so far, most of the older posters have nothing to fear from the 'spots'Comment

Actually one of the Business Analysts is being outsourced. Only for minor enhancements, there is still going to be UK-based.Comment

I have noticed a number of 'foreign' business analysts on the job market.....thought I was safe!Comment

I've seen b2 and b3 outsourced. They tried b1 too but it fell on its face, and the had to back up the b2s and b3s with contractors, irony of ironies, because they were naff.Comment

the other thing is, ANY role can be fulfilled by an imported Indian. More expensive than off-shore, but a lot cheaper than me.Comment
