Depends if you want to live in a hovel though....
And the lord said unto John; "come forth and receive eternal life." But John came fifth and won a toaster.

On "Divorce Day", you should not need expensive presents to feel elated.

So having lost access to your children, your savings and most future income you should feel elated?

Well only if you are unfortunate enough to have got yourself into that particular predicament, but I doubt that is the norm. That said, I expect you will be back here shortly manacled to the forum and dressed as Spider-Man eh?

But surely she gets a big chunk of the future income while she sits on her @rse all day watching Jeremy Kyle and having her @arse knocked off by the milkman. Unless it goes on your PAYE salary! i.e. a big percentage of ferk all
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

                I preferred version 1!

5 years' savings would buy a reasonably nice house eh. I tend to try and think a little differently though, in that when house prices settle down a bit then try to buy (cheaper) investment property every 2 or 3 years - in cash. That way, in about 10 years' time you could have 5 freehold investment properties hopefully generating around £3k income a month.

What about those contractors who havent been contracting for a year.

I could afford a lock up Garage though.
