      Mine was a childhood nickname.

.......or did I pick it due to a liking for a certain type of, er, adult film?

          Where I live...
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Well I imagined that Yog-Soggoth was a play on words from the Lovecraft Mythos.

Yog-Sothoth (The Lurker at the Threshold, The Key and the Gate, The Beyond One, Opener of the Way, The All-in-One and the One-in-All) is a fictional character in the Cthulhu Mythos and the Dream Cycle of H.P. Lovecraft. Yog-Sothoth's name was first mentioned in his novella The Case of Charles Dexter Ward (written 1927, first published 1941). The being is said to take the form of a conglomeration of glowing bubbles
Obviously, with your corruption of the original name, I had you pegged down as a 3rd cousin (thrice removed) from the original Yog-Sothoth.

Sort of like the eccentric uncle that collects hard-boiled eggs and stores them in his trousers. Ie, no great serious threat to humanity, until of course, a world cataclysm occurs and the only way to thwart the massed alien invasion is to bombard them with hard-boiled eggs.

Unfortunately, the only person left in the world refuses to hand them over.

In other words, Evil Mad World Domination By Proxy of having an egg-fetish.

However, my theory may be completely wrong.
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

mine was having to put up with yet another "management consulting" bunch of whinging clowns who just were and never will be, up to the most meagre of tasks unless they arrive in legion and charge the planet.

My real name is Nathaniel Algernon Thomas-Fitzgerald. Shortened to Nat or NAT, hence Not All There.

                  This is a prevarication.

Mainly chosen because I want to post without being taken too seriously. But it goes well with the Avatar.
