Nah, it was over the size limit for attachments and they didnt know how to use zip
That always made me laugh when I was working there.
They'd set a low limit, thinking what good, secure boys they were being, without taking into account the size of files being sent as part of normal business.
Funny you've just posted that. I've just heard that this 'password protection' is bollox. There is no protection. Essentially comma separated values, CR for end of record.
And it's an awful lot more than 15m, more like 27-35m, possibly everyone who gets child benefit paid to them, plus a good few who don't, but are for some obscure reason on that system as well.

I've more sauce: why don't they delete records when they are no longer required? Fancy keeping details of benefits paid to children that are getting on for over 40 years old now...
