Kids COMPLETELY and utterly destroy any financial plans you put in place before their arrival. It's not even the minor costs of baby clothes, nappies, pushchairs, food etc... it's the major costs when they get a bit older, such as schooling, designer clothes, cars etc. And then you're forced to think about their inheritance!

Having said that, they make life worth living.

It's not just about the cost. What kind of example you will be setting for them? You shouldn't be surprised if they will just try to squander all your money after and then go on the dole when it's run out.

We recently did a gig in a tiny (very crowded) cafe, and earnt 270 Euros, for two of us, that's about £40 an hour, now if we can earn that in a tiny cafe, what could we do in a big hall. We calculated thousands of Euo's.

I mean we're not talking fame here, just small venues.
