you get prescribed heroin when you get chronic rhuematism.

There are many 'junkie' pensioners out there who will be on it for the rest of their life.

There is a common misconception that all heroin users are violent, crazied lunatics or hoe's like the image in the 80's.

Why is heroin addiction considered bad? anymore than insulin? both are physical addictions/dependancies.

Insulin - you die without it. Heroin - you die with it.

          That's my crazy theory, anyway...

Wealthy smack heads on good stuff live for years. It's the street level heroin and lifestyle that goes with it that kills people off.

What an excellent idea; does this herald a return to the sensible pre 1970 policies before we adopted the demented Septic Mafia boosting ban it all Prohibition approach... just think there were at least 5 or 6,000 addicts back then.

If nothing else, they won't need to steal off the rest of us.

Cheaper if you buy direct from friendly Afganies, and also you have to take into account lower life expectancy of a junkie using heroin every day...

The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”
