Notice word "make", not "earn" - same goes with the bonus - you, city boys, "make" money, not "earning" them, because if you were earning money you would not be blowing them onto £10k bottle of wine.

UKs economy is going to be FUBARed not just because of Gordon Brown, but because of you City Boys who cheered Brown on and "made" your money from getting everyone into debt.

You can't even honestly admit the simple truth - you city boys ain't earning money, you are making them at best, and the only reason it is not called thieving is because you have got big shot lawyers to back you up and small print in contracts.

Frankly, I have more sympathy to a drug addict stealing stuff to feed his habit, than your city chaps who steal from the nation.

Trading real stuff - selling your own industrial goods to backwards countries, or even being smart at copying Chinese pottery - all this is to be encouraged.

What do you, city boys, trade now? You trade honesty, common sense, and buckets of subprime tulips, is this what this country has come to? Pathetic I say - relying on financial mathematics to give £100k jobs for some, and McDonalds jobs for others: this would be good for Honduras or Lichtenstein (yes I spell checked that word), but not for Great Britain.

As long as the city picks up their own bad debt and mistakes and the tax payer isn't used to bail them out, then what they have done is fine by me.

Yeah yeah, and Northern Crock is bailed out by whom? Heck, the City is putting normal taxpayers at the prospect of ruin from the bubbles that they create there, IMO, the solution to this problem should be quick and harsh so that any surviving city boys would spent time telling in pubs stories of excesses that brought them down in a vain hope someone will give them money to buy a pint of cheap lager.
