Anyone with a GPRS/UMTS/3G/iMode whatever data connection can, but not as conveniently as with the iPhone, and with a contract which pretty much allows you unlimited bandwidth (as long as you don't take heinous liberties). -
You are Steve Jobs and I claim my 5 cheap...I mean overrpiced gadgets.Originally posted by Charles Foster Kane View PostSo who has better designed products than Apple, at a more competitive price? I wanted one until I looked at the wifi coverage for my area... 0 then I looked at O2's handy future coverage map... 0 again, no doubt some spotty chinned teenager from the carphone warehouse will still try and convince me they're great.
From the same guy who hates mac's linky I don't totaly agree but its quite funny anyway.Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment

Sure. Fill yer boots. I left O2 a year ago because their data tariffs were obscene. But we're talking about the network now. I use T-Mobile and can use my phone as a modem for my laptop, whether by wifi, bluetooth or USB. For this alone I have to rule the iPhone out.Originally posted by Charles Foster Kane View PostAnyone with a GPRS/UMTS/3G/iMode whatever data connection can, but not as conveniently as with the iPhone, and with a contract which pretty much allows you unlimited bandwidth (as long as you don't take heinous liberties).
Convenience? Doubt it - it's still a pissy little screen and doesn't even have a keyboard. But don't let me stop you.Comment

I introduced you to Maddox's page you swine! Yeah, that is a funy article, I was going to link it. Although America get a crap deal on bandwidth allowance etc. on the iPhone so it makes less sense for them.Originally posted by gingerjedi View PostI wanted one until I looked at the wifi coverage for my area... 0 then I looked at O2's handy future coverage map... 0 again, no doubt some spotty chinned teenager from the carphone warehouse will still try and convince me they're great.

Your avatar pictures you on a beach, does it not? Oh, and you appear to have ridden the waves though an oil slick - Washing up liquid should do the trick.Originally posted by Charles Foster Kane View PostThe fact you appear to have decided I am some sort of surfer dude.Comment

It sounds like you buy a product based on how pretty it is rather than functionality for the cost.Originally posted by Charles Foster Kane View PostSo who has better designed products than Apple, at a more competitive price? Pimp my Ipod! The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”Comment

Ahh, I see. That is in fact a sentient being called Arm... In fact forget it. Yes, yes that was me surfing in oil. Thanks for the tip.Originally posted by realityhack View PostYour avatar pictures you on a beach, does it not?
