    Portuguese - English dictionary

    Chan

Anyone know of a good one of these (would obviously incorporate English - Portuguese capability too).

Should be 1. available online 2. free 3. comprehensive 4. easy to use

Search via e.g. Google has not so far returned any which meet criteria above, certainly not number 3.

    Any recommendations, thanks in advance

      Can't you just use Babelfish?

Alternatively there is a plugin for Firefox that does translations. Do a search for Fox Lingo

Judging by that translation, don't use babelfish.

          Chan

Fox Lingo and Babelfish appear to be clones, when tested they always give exactly the same translation (or lack of).

Is there a dictionary which will translate slang, profanity etc?

Much the same as the other sites. Their "O Gordon Doura" for Gordon Brown was amusing, though.
