Wasn't much good for me either. Floated the odd dog biscuit on the edge of the lillies but did get any takers.

Just easing into what I think is going to be a long carp day, carp drive, and some very carpy thoughts on my first attempts at doing a bit of work. Carp all round so far.

How much is the parking there? at the moment i'm a £15 taxi ride away but looking to move further afield soonish so might need to drive instead

was too err "celebratory" this weekend and so wasnt in a good enough state to get the flight down as usual last night..

decided to get the early train this morning.. 5:08 train, change at Birmingham.. didnt get full english just a bacon butty ("full english is served after Birmingham, sir" ), swapped onto virgin "all your get is a microwaved butty and some apple slices" voyager, arrived 30 mins late..

now i feel sleepy, hungover and my liver aches but it's monday so 5 days before a rest...

Woke up this morning to find one of the pipes in the boiler cupboard in the kitchen had sprung a leak. Water all over the worktop and soaked into the cupboard door making the door swell and warp and the veener peel off.

£45 or thereabouts for Monday to Friday.

You can get cheaper if you go for off-airport parking, but I'm usually in a rush so park there and then walk to the terminal (since it's quicker most days than waiting for the bus).

Thats not too bad (and i tend to be a last minute sort, especially as i tend to work from home mondays and fly late afternoon)
