I hate Wilkinsons - it's always full of Pikey Chavs trying to decide what the latest pikey smell they should be coated in.

They used to wear red & black hoops when I played them. Why are you involved with them?

            Food for thought

Anyone ever done a survey on how dress effects production?

I would be interested to see if a work force dressed ‘smart’ for a week / month (suits tie etc) and when they dressed down (whatever really) for week / month. I wonder if productivity would change.

I leave the house at 7:30 and am in the office by 8:00. Only reason I do this is so that I can short out my tulips in the morn plus to avoid the manic rush hour. If I leave the house 10 minutes later I get in by 8:30-9:00 so it’s really not worth it.

The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

Right I'm off to wilkinsons to get some cleaning products.
You guessed correct. As a commuter I resented the time spent behind the wheel or on the train that I could have been charging for.

Now I spend more time at work, a danger, but charge a good amount of hours, hours spent working not on this board too much, and the work gets the attention as well as family.

Possibly the exact reason why I don't..

I'm an individual and won't act like a sheep. If other people wish to dress alike that is there choice. It's my choice not to.

It has nothing to do with respect for others. Other people gain my respect for their abilities and personalities not for their job titles and what they are wearing. I expect the same from them. No more no less.

The reason I don't wear suits to interviews is because I don't feel comfortable wearing them and hence wouldnot come across at my best. If it was at the sort of place wear not wearing a suit for the interview would be a problem and cause the manager to have a hissy-fit then chances are it's not somewhere that I would want supply my services anyway so no loss.

Once again, I'm engaged for my skills and experience not what I choose to wear

I do appreciate that the majority of managers (especially in sales) do have very little to offer other than the ability to bull**** and therefore at least need to look the part even if they don't provide much value.
