That's exactly why I suggested getting something else made by someone else - my dress was handmade and not a "normal" wedding dress and I paid less for it than loads of other people I know paid for ones from wedding dress shops! you have to be a particular shape and size to look good in those and I was never going to look right - plus it is just not my style. I got what I wanted and cos it ain't a tradional wedding dress I've worn it for parties, other weddings and once with my wellies to go for a walk in the snow for a laugh - I have got my money's worth!!Originally posted by SallyAnne View PostI know!
The dresses are lovely - and really nice quality and stuff.....but most of the lasses look hideous! Which is what I'm afraid of.
Hence the drastic slim fast kick start.Comment

I just like the word, it's a word people don't say anymore, it disappeared like Michelin Blimp likeThe court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”Comment
