Because it says in the techical regulations that they must be rear wheel drive.

Rear wheel drive - front engined - naturally aspirated = great handling car which is progressive on the limit so you can slide it around corners without killing yourself.
Ah, so all rally is off road? The scooby is actually a very good sports car.

So, all sports cars are rear wheel drive? I see where I have been going wrong.....
Some of the new Ferraris are front wheel drive, but I guess that makes them family cars.

The Scooby is a 4 door sallon which Subaru has tricket out completely in order to be successfull in Rally. It was never designed as a sports car. It is not a sports car.

Most rally is off road - and since they have to use the same car for all tests they choose 4wd because it is most effective off road. A few years ago Citroen had a car which was front week drive - it was lightning fast on asfalt but crap off road. 4wd is for off oaders.

No Ferrari is or has been front wheel drive.

What mug buys a new car?!

.... I bought an M3 last week - although i felt like a bit of a plum turning up for the first day of work on this contract in that, next to all the rusty bangers owned by the permies.

Still - the commute to and from work feels more like fun, than an actual drive .... 340bhp and a load of country roads.

Wrong! Threaded had a prototype that the design team gave him for his feedback. He said front wheel drive was pants and so they dropped the model.

So, if a car has front wheel drive, part front wheel drive, or 4 wheel drive, it cannot be a sports car?

Did he phrase his review as a surrealistic MACaddress randomized youtube video?
