It's a bit more complex than that, because there are several "Wobbegong" characters in the EU servers.

Name / Race / Class / Level / EU Server

Wobbegong Night Elf Druid 22 EU-Aggramar
    Wobbegong Human Warlock 23 EU-Boulderfist
    Wobbegong Tauren Druid 20 EU-Doomhammer
    Wobbegong Human Warlock 70 EU-Draenor
Wobbegong Night Elf Rogue 69 EU-Kil'Jaeden
Wobbegong Tauren Hunter 12 EU-Kul Tiras
    Wobbegong Gnome Warlock 55 EU-Nagrand
    Wobbegong Gnome Warrior 24 EU-Runetotem
Wobbegong Draenei Shaman 40 EU-Shattered Halls
Wobbegong Draenei Shaman 32 EU-Shattered Hand

Thankfully none on our Server :-)

If he was on his way to Darnassus, I'd take a guess and say that he is Alliance, since Darnassus is an Alliance Zone and Horde don't go there (unless Raiding the City of Darnassus, which is unlikely these days).

Also, Darnassus is the Night Elf starting zone.

Finally, there's nothing for high level characters these days in Darnassus, as most people are Raiding and Levelling in Outlands.

Wobbegong Night Elf Druid 22 EU-Aggramar : most likely candidate
    Wobbegong Human Warlock 23 EU-Boulderfist : Unlikely
    Wobbegong Tauren Druid 20 EU-Doomhammer : Horde
Wobbegong Human Warlock 70 EU-Draenor : Gonna be in Outlands
Wobbegong Night Elf Rogue 69 EU-Kil'Jaeden :Gonna be in Outlands
Wobbegong Tauren Hunter 12 EU-Kul Tiras :Horde
Wobbegong Gnome Warlock 55 EU-Nagrand : Levelling on the last zones before Outlands
Wobbegong Gnome Warrior 24 EU-Runetotem : Would have no real reason to visit Darnassus
Wobbegong Draenei Shaman 40 EU-Shattered Halls :Would have no real reason to visit Darnassus
Wobbegong Draenei Shaman 32 EU-Shattered Hand :Would have no real reason to visit Darnassus

I reckon this is your chap.

Wobbegong Night Elf Druid 22 EU-Aggramar

Very thorough BGG. But none of these are me. I never have, and never will, get involved in that sort of gaming.

The most gaming I do is on a PS2 (when the kids aren't using it, and when I'm not sick to death with looking at screens ), and that's not even connected to the net.
    The vegetarian option.

As thorough as I would expect from BGG

I must say, it does look like a really addictive game... AND ideal for playing when "away from home".. might look into getting the trial..

Zorba, NOW i'm potentially outing myself

what race/class should I be BGG?

I just wouldn't want to pay the monthly fee for WoW, whatever it is.

Tried my hand at Guild Wars, which I completed but then realised that I was tulipe compared to all the kids and long term gamers out there. There's no point playing if you don't have loads of time to invest in order to be good enough to take part in the really interesting aspects of mmorpgs.

noooo i have a girlfriend and would like to keep her thanx, lots of friends have played that in the past and lost girlfriends because of it, one even got divorced.. not good.

just recreational gaming while im away with work would suffice

the monthly fee isnt that month, about £11? and 4 nights a week is plenty of time i figure.. might even help convert my alcohol stream back to blood

Take FM to Reading, and leave the CD there over the weekend, so you can't play it at home. And buy some Pro Plus to get you through the days.

You never know - your experience may even get you a job in the top flight!

Hey, we're all men (or elves or whatever) in here.

Next time I'm away from home (7 years not out!) I'm tempted to have a go at EVE Online - I fancy the space travel stuff more than bashing dwarves etc.

Things will probably have moved on by then though

WoW is the crack of the gaming industry, even more so than the other MMO's out there. Recreational gaming is very hard to maintain with it. There is always "just one more thing" you want to do before you log off / go to bed etc and you can easily lose 4-5 hours without realising it. Do not start playing WoW if you work from home, you will get nothing else done!

That's a good point - I fancied Guild Wars for that reason, but didn't dabble in the end. I keep to single player games simply because I play so rarely that I wouldn't be able to keep up with these online things! Sad in a way - about 15 years ago I used to play a MUD quite regularly and it was fun.

I think I'll stick to UT... the old one... just go in, shoot a few heads off and get back to real life within 30 minutes. None of this levelling for 5 years just to be a boot licker for some guy who's been levelling for 5.1 years...
