Not now. The saffers look favourites, although I think they'll find England a vastly different proposition to the 36-0 team. -
Not sure I can listen to another commentary like that for the final

Praise where it's due I think.
The England team have shown spirit and determination well beyond what anybody outside the team expected.
They have got their heads down and put in a superb performance.
Considering their form since the last world cup and in the first game against SA I do not think anybody expected them to get past (at best) the quarter finals.
It may not be pretty, but this is the world cup and winning is everything.
Well done to England.
Just one more game guys, just one more.I am not qualified to give the above advice!

England
My divided loyalties aside, based on performance and admiration for determination(After all that is what rugby is about), I will have to admit I am hoping for England to win. They deserve it.There are no evil thoughts except one: the refusal to thinkComment

I think they got fed up with it once Major took over. Not nearly as much material to work with, and what there was showed signs of strain on the creative side. They heyday was definately the last year of Thatcher.Originally posted by wendigo100 View PostAs I recall it was dropped in the run up to the glorious 1997 election.
