Which means only one thing. Rents are going to double in the next few years to catch up. Hope you renters can afford it.

Rents are a truer indication of what people can afford to pay. Often credit checks on potential tenants are more stringent than those for a mortgage! What a strange, strange world.

Funny how no-one believed me about that 6 months ago. Subsidised rents in order to expereince forever rising prices and limitless low priced credit.
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

I thought that had been obvious for a few years now? I can’t believe they don't mention that this is only true for the short term.... unless they know something we don’t.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

How can one profit from such a situation until the sh1t hits the proverbial?

Sell up and go live in a box under the bridge. Or buy Argentinian property, invest in Emerging market bonds, uranium or platinum (better than gold/silver).

I could have told you that a year ago. Then again, this report is from 2006 data. Imagine how much cheaper it is now?
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.
