I was at a supermarket chechout, bottle of wine and a £20 note in my hand. The old dear in front of me was fumbling in her purse for coppers to pay for two iced buns she had bought. She was explaining to the checkout girl that her grandson was coming to visit that afternoon and she hadnt seen him for years, she was so exited.
She had real trouble getting the coins out because her hands and fingers were stiff with rheumatism. Anyway, she counted out the coppers and had just enough with 2p to spare, then she dropped the purse. As I picked it up I palmed my twenty into the purse then handed it to her.

She stopped outside and stared at me through the window so I blew her a kiss and winked. hey ho

I ran London Marathon in 2004 and raised £8k for a small chariety called HUSH, that works with families who lost children to e-coli. My misses nephew died at 4 years old, due to e-coli in a burger from the largest change in the world. As it was a small chariety £8k was a big deal to them, I made it on the front page on the news letter

Also I moved in with my nan for 6 months after my grandad died to look after her, that was nice.

We are all nice guys and girls really

          Thats about it

So many, and I don't tend to dwell on them. I like to bring a little ray of sunshine into everyones life I meet.

Today during the 103km MTB marathon race I met up with a chap that had ripped his tire. As it so happened I had a couple of $1 bills I carry with me just for such an eventuality.

                  CtA

I'm walking 700 miles in the dark over Christmas to raise money for two armed service charities. More structured than a random "nice thing to do" but hope that it qualifies nonetheless!
