My dad is so helpful that he stopped to help a guy who was struggling to change his tyre on an industrial estate.

Unfortunately he didn't notice the boot full of pc's that the guy had just nicked from the office round the corner.

I have a similar ATM story - ran after a guy who walked away without taking the cash (£20)! He was clealy distracted by chatting to his bird about how skint he was - NO WONDER!!

A few years ago I was behind a girl using a cashing machine, she was there for a bit, swore at it then walked off with her card. I went to use the machine and noticed a wad of cash sticking out of the money slot. Must have been £200+. Ran after her and gave her the money and told her to be more careful in future.

Incidently, over the weekend I used the self service checkout in ASDA, got £50 cash back which i accidently left in the notes dispenser. Luckily a very honest employee caught up with me as I walked out and corrected my error

last year when i was on the bench there was this elderly lady wandering up our street - looked half-cut as she started wobbling all over the road. i ran out and asked if she was ok. she told me in no uncertain terms to leave her alone.

i was sure she would get run over so i shadowed her making sure that she stayed off the road and all the while she was getting very angry with me. shouting at me to leave her alone and suchlike

all of a sudden she collapsed - i caught her but she was so heavy i dropped her and she got a right old whack as her head hit the tarmack.

hmm maybe i wasn't all that much help.

£15 towards a gift for a new family
£1 towards the church collection
£30 towards a new barrell of larger at the local pub after the chritening
£20 towards a curry takeaway on the night time.
