The freak show continues in the village this morning - holding me up for 10 mins as I tried to thread my car through the sat vans etc on my way to work. However today the police have started to take control by putting up road blocks - the press not to be put off are now just setting up cranes and elevated platforms in order to look into the MaCanns house from afar.

I live near you. Fancy some entertainment today so I may take a wander down and poke fun at the news crews. Wonder if Fox are there?

What ever happened and who ever did it. Little Madeline didn't deserve to have her life ended at such a young age.

Lets hope that it is all resolved a.s.a.p so that she can truly R.I.P

The allegation is that the DNA shows a full match of 99%.

It was a DNA match - and since when is 99% a full match?

As I understand it Chimpanzee DNA is 98% the same as humans, so doesn't 99% mean it is as close to being from Emperor Hirohito as Madeline McCann?

Well by your logic that means that its more likely that Emperor Hirohito did it than a chimpanzee

If there si a quantity of blood and it is Maddies then it is damning. However....
If it is just trace evidence then there is a serious chance of cross contamination. Blood found in the room could have been transferred on clothes etc.

Consider:
The last person to see Maddy alive was one of the friends, not the parents.
Mrs Mac left the dinner party and returned within minutes to say Maddie was missing.

What some are saying is that in that time she killed her daughter and hid the body. Then for the past 3 months has play acted her way through all this.
Also that under international press and police scrutiny she sneaked out and moved the body.

Just where and how could she have hidden a body so well that all the searches by the police and public did not find her?
