Will the congestion charge be suspended in these situations?
How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

FYI: according to the BBC, the lines affected will be the Bakerloo, Central and Victoria.

              So, here's the situation:

              Company goes bust.
Workers are told that they can keep their jobs.
Workers are told that they keep their pensions.
Workers are told that they will not be made redundant.
Workers are told they will not have to transfer to a new company.
              Workers are going on strike.
Unions wonder why they get no sympathy from the general public.

hmmm Victoria Line my worst communte for 2 years of my contracting life. The carriages are old, smelly and packed due to bad layout oh and very very hot in summer.

Thank god i'm not working in the city anymore. My thoughts are with you all

I might be missing something here but as it all transferred to TfL when Metronet went into administration all the jobs conditions etc would be covered under the TUPE regulations?

                      Phew...

Here's the list of the affected lines from the BBC:

                      Bakerloo
                      Central
                      Victoria
                      Circle
                      District
                      East London
                      Hammersmith & City
                      Metropolitan
                      Waterloo & City

So everything else will be running normally.
