DA,
with respect, you seem to be getting off topic a little here.
Why don't we try to stay focused, this thread was objectively discussing the merits of the German economy and all of sudden instead of continuing to discuss objectively you have become defensive and personal.
We've all been posting here for so long that we can ignore the defensivity and personal nature of your post and give you the floor to have another go and answer the questions I posed with a clear head.
The floor is yours DA.

No need to get personal, boys.Originally posted by DodgyAgent View PostThe difference between you and I milan is that I dont post threads extolling the virtues of living and working in the UK, I merely respond to sad little twerps like you who clearly have so few friends that you are unattached to anything or anyone other than your PC. My view of people like you is that you are sad and lonely and need to spend time convincing yourself that the UK is tulipe.
I am 100% with Jeremy Clarkson on this.
I dont truly think the UK is anything hugely special other than I love living and working here. What I do though is when I see people writing threads from afar criticising the UK, I challenge them because I know that their problem is not with the UK but is more to do with their own personal problems.
So feel free to criticise the UK all you like but dont expect the rest of us to roll over end envy you, because the chances are that if the UK has problems wherever you go will be worse.
We are merely talking about the relative merits and demerits of the various European economies.
And DA, you haven't answered the biggest point we have raised: that the current "success" may be an illusion based on borrowed money.Hard Brexit now!

Sas,
I think DA must be having a bad day, so we'll let him off for these indiscretions
DA, call it a day for now, go home, get a good nights sleep and we can continue tomorrow - you know it makes sense.

DA,
as Sas pointed out, you didn't answer question.
Still as I said, leave it for now and come back tomorrow and have another go with a clear head.
All the best.

I prefer to live in the UK too. It is my home after all. I just want to get rid of this Labour government and get back to fiscal responsibility.Originally posted by DodgyAgent View PostYou stick to germany and I will stick to the UK. Why not leave it at that?Hard Brexit now!
