    Anyone?
Choose which is best for you......afterall, that's what an employer/client would do. Also keep it in mind that, if the budget was cut, they would not hesitate in giving you the chop!

Where in Wales is it? What kind of role?

See if you can get someone else in, and exercise your right of substitution.

Yeah it is naughty to blow them out and you shouldn't do it because you gave your word and it gives contractors bad reputation etc etc etc.

But like others have said, they probably wouldn't hesitate if there was a budget cut or freeze (I've been a victim of this; yes, it was annoying but I got over it).

Secondly, say you do the honorable thing and take it... from day 1 you would be kicking yourself about this much better role and your heart wouldn't be in it and it's not going to be a good time for either parties.
It's about time I changed this sig...

Would any of you who said "stick to the first contract" change your mind if the second contract was for £4k more a month?

I tend to stick to what I've agreed, since once I've got one sorted, I stop looking.

However, I now tell agents that the first one to get a signed contract, wins the race.

If you can get someone to substitute for you, then you could win on both fronts - I'm available in 11 days!

I'm offended now - I wouldn't be stuck where I am if I was an agent!

To be fair everyone could keep chopping and changing chasing money, eventually your rep will catch up with you. If you are due to arrive tomorrow then IMHO it's a bit sh1tty to let them down now.
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

Oh well...well at least your opinion of me hasn't changed then.

That's my opinion of letting people down at the last minute that's all.
