Choose which is best for you......afterall, that's what an employer/client would do. Also keep it in mind that, if the budget was cut, they would not hesitate in giving you the chop! -

Yeah it is naughty to blow them out and you shouldn't do it because you gave your word and it gives contractors bad reputation etc etc etc.
But like others have said, they probably wouldn't hesitate if there was a budget cut or freeze (I've been a victim of this; yes, it was annoying but I got over it).
Secondly, say you do the honorable thing and take it... from day 1 you would be kicking yourself about this much better role and your heart wouldn't be in it and it's not going to be a good time for either parties.It's about time I changed this sig...Comment

To be fair everyone could keep chopping and changing chasing money, eventually your rep will catch up with you.
