      Apologies, should have been more specific.

      Was alluding to, for want of a better term, take home pay.

      i.e. At the end of a year, the amount of money you either did or could have taken.

              Looks like there are two main categories as expected:

              Permies < 90K
              Contractors >90K

              Oh and the third category:

              Threaded > 500K
              I've seen much of the rest of the world. It is brutal and cruel and dark, Rome is the light.

                  30k - 60k for me.

                  I get a "guaranteed" £32,000 from trucking (i.e. If I did nowt but truck thats what I would get). Contracting takes it higher.

                  When I've completed a year of contracting I will tell you guys!
