Er...no. Which is why I said that it is my less economical car!Originally posted by chicaneDo you also get 50+mph out of the Porsche?
And it's also why I don't commute in it - once I've done 10000 miles in the year, at 25p per mile I'd almost certainly make a loss!

Oh dear, I knew I was tired today but not only did I type it wrong the first time, I didn't even notice it again when you typed it!
I'd like to put the record straight - I get 50+mph out of BOTH cars! Just the Porsche gets there significantly quicker!Comment

Will have to think about it shortly.Originally posted by milanbenesShaun less of it
Franko, what do you drive ?
Milan.
Options to be evaluated now are:
A) A BMW Series 3 2003-4 model
B) An A6 2003-2004 model
C) An Alfa 147 2002-3 model
D) A Passat 2003-2004 model (not recommended for the risk of being associated with some dull guy)
E) A Ford Focus 2005-2006 model
F) A new Peugeot 207 or Fiat Grande Punto
G) A new Fiat Bravo
As you can see, I am still quite in the dark but I have some time to think about it.I've seen much of the rest of the world. It is brutal and cruel and dark, Rome is the light.Comment

Well, they are all in the same price range of between 20 to 30k CHF. I guess the most likely so far it's a semi-new Focus. Best value for money for my needs I reckon.Originally posted by milanbenesFranko,
