I'm not a Tory, but find myself reluctantly agreeing. Churchill was a miraclulous godsend for WW2; Thatcher - lost the plot towards the end, and did make the Tories look and feel cold and uncaring. If Maggie had tempered her radicalism with a bit more publicly obvious sympathy, a lot more people would miss her.
