1. You need to declare it.
2. It is not as big a deal as you think.
3. If they really want and require your services and there is an urgent requirement, then you will get the SC, more so since you have already had it.
4. A Crim for ABH is a "change of circumstances", so even if you already held a current and valid SC, you would have had to declare it anyway, and that would have triggered a review regardless.
5. I reckon you'll get it, but you need to be very upfront, the SC is not a "did he rob banks" , more a "did he rob banks and was he trustworthy when he did it" test
