I think I'm too generous with the info myself - I get a call from an agent and happily spill the beans. After all, the main point is getting future work, not lunch. However, I've had many promises of lunch or a pint, none of which were ever followed up.

Still, I'm a contractor, I can buy my own pint right?

Forgot to say that I'm always happy to spill it because if businesses can be well-supplied with contractors by agencies, then they may be more inclined to stick with contractors as a resourcing option instead of ending up with the offshore crowd. My opinion of course.

Take me out DA, we would have loads to talk about.

I believe in cutting out the middle man

Have lunch with the Client. better restaurants, better conversation, and they usually pay.
