I believe in cutting out the middle man
Have lunch with the Client. better restaurants, better conversation, and they usually pay.

Take me out DA, we would have loads to talk about.

Forgot to say that I'm always happy to spill it because if businesses can be well-supplied with contractors by agencies, then they may be more inclined to stick with contractors as a resourcing option instead of ending up with the offshore crowd. My opinion of course.

I think I'm too generous with the info myself - I get a call from an agent and happily spill the beans. After all, the main point is getting future work, not lunch. However, I've had many promises of lunch or a pint, none of which were ever followed up.
Still, I'm a contractor, I can buy my own pint right?

I always accept lunch invites form agents, free lunch, generally good yarns and I get to quiz them on thngs that I want to know. The price is usually spilling the beans on info they want.. but thats only fair.
MSB have an abosultely gorgeous agent, and she is great lunch companion. Would sell all my referees out to lunch with her
