Muslims are against inter-faith marriage, as are Sikhs and Hindus (or certainly some Hindus are). As are Mormons (I think) and some Jews and Christians. Different religions and sects of each religion and families and individuals within each religion go along with this to a greater or lesser extent
Now if you ask me, it's all boll0x, but it's basis is on shared beliefs. A Muslim friend of mine with a white boyfriend would have been able to marry him if he'd converted (which he reasonably declined to do and that was that).
The BNP position is based on race, not religion. In another words, on what you are physically, rather than what you think. It is based on the view that some groups are born superior to others and that racial pollution should be avoided (particularly when it comes to the master race).
They are different positions in their origin and in themselves.
