I know we all like a good whinge on here to fill the void in our souls but other countries are much, much worse when it comes to regulating what people can/can't do.Originally posted by Let-Me-InCricket...or lawn bowls?
Good example - scuba diving in France is totally state regulated to an utterly absurd degree that makes it all but impossible to dive without a Moniteur d'Etat. I had a blazing row in a dive shop in Corsica last year that ended up with me declaring that I was not the slave of any state. Drew the line at singing land of hope and glory loudly over them.
Good at the time but I felt like a complete numpty afterwards!Comment
