    2 days / week Netherlands.

Looking at a contract which I've been asked if I am interested in.

Its an "average" of 3 days / week in the Netherlands. Not knowing anything about thier tax laws would this amount of time this isnt going to make me liable for anything over there is it?

I'm not sure about your tax liabilities in the Netherlands although if you have your own ltd co surely it will either pay tax here or there? I don't think you would be liable for personal tax in Holland (at least I've worked over there quite a bit for companies I've been employed by and the Dutch IR never came after me - (ahem) yet). I'm sure an expert will be along shortly to help you out.

How will this affect your ability to make money from your other activities though?

Cheers. I was more looking to see if I can just keep paying UK tax as the job is based in the UK but with a fair amount of travel to there so I didnt want to do something stupid and become liable in 2 places for tax.

if the employer (end client) is uk based and you spend less than 183 days in the netherlands you will be ok. 3 days a week over 6 months - you will be fine. if however, you go over the 183 days, the dutch tax authorities will want a piece of your earnings. there are varous interpretations of the 183 day rule but iirc a full day means exactly that - it does not include travelling days.
