I inspire much of what you do fd, the inspirational male role model you have obviously never had. Anyway, you ought to be in fine fettle this week, after THFC made a signing that genuinely allows you to walk around with 'BENT' on the back of your shirt!Originally posted by freakydanceryou were the fat man that inspired my thread...

To compare a faint smell of tobaco to urine is pretty pathetic. Many people like the smell of tobaco, I don't know anyone attracted to urine, maybe you're in watersports, who knows?!
Bad breath - ban?
Fart- ban?
BO- ban?
Some disgusting food smell- ban?
Where should we stop?
I don't smoke, I have smoked, I hope I never become a ex smoking nazi like yourself.
Having no smoke in pubs doesn't mean we will live forever. One day even non smokers will die. If smokers want to smoke, let them. Non smokers could have had non smoking areas, infact they did didn't they, most were happy with that, but they weren't the ones complaining.I remember the good old days of this site when people used to moan about serious contractor related issues like house prices and immigration. How times have changed!?Comment

On that TV advert about the smoking ban with that berk in the pub saying smugly, "...and if you're caught, you'll be fined £50". Makes me want to put my foot through the telly. What's happened to this bloody country? I was hoping for a bit of civil disobedience, but the UK just seems to want to lie down like well-behaved little lambs and let everyone walk all over them.Comment

If I want to set up my own pub for smokers, where the bar staff smoke, I smoke and the customers are free to smoke, where is the problem with that?Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyoneComment

I doubt many pubs will take any notice behind closed doors ;-)Originally posted by shaunbhoyNobody is stopping them, just make sure you wear outdoor clothes!!

Faint? Your talking out of your ass.To compare a faint smell of tobaco
I think you will find they were not happy. Now smokers have an area.... outside. Hope they are equally happy.Non smokers could have had a non smoking area, infact they did didn't they, most were happy with that, but they weren't the ones complaining.
This whole issue is fun, because one side has already won, now its just left to mock the whingers and bitchers who are complaining about it.
