This poll is biased to get the answer you want to hear.
Do you have to be a socialist to want rid of them? The USA doesn't have a Royal family, I don't think they consider themselves left wing.
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

Personally I'd like the "Cost too much in taxpayers money" option. If they were self-sufficient I wouldn't have a problem with them.

          Get rid of the parasites.

I don't want a commune, and it doesn't bother me that they're rich, just that they're rich parasites.

Oh no, I've come back from holiday and almost fallen into the trap of taking this seriously. When will I learn

I think we should be allowed to vote people into the royal family. How about John Prescott on a free transfer, or a swap deal with the Dutchess of Kent?

The big problem is that they are villified and prevented from earning money so they really don't have much choice. Don't you remember the big fuss when Prince Andrew was running his own PR company. He was accused of abusing his royal status and had to sell the company off in the end.

If they aren't allowed to make money commercially what are they supposed to do?

Also the Prince of Wales does rather well with his Duchy brand that all goes to charity. Yes we do pay some tax for them, but I belive somebody worked it out at roughly 10p per yer per person which really isn't that bad a deal and that doesn't take into account the amount of money the royal family brings into the country for us.

Jade Goody for Camilla. Who would notice? You never see them in the same place anyway

But where did they get the family get their money from in the first place? You can be pretty sure it wasn't an honest day's work - not that any of us would know much about that.
