Are you a bird? If so, show us your baps and don't use them - there's some horrible statistic on the TfL website about them.

If you are a bloke, get any ropey looking car to stop, fix a price you think reasonable, normally a few quid below a black cab cost (City to Wimbledon, black cab ~40 quid, ropey cab ~25to30). Try not to fall asleep.

Also, you should be ok with licenced mini-cabs. A mini-cab is the one you phone up to book.

Maybe that's the terminology - OK so if I ring to book they should be cool. (still fixed fare right?)
