Just wait for the scientists to do thier work. We don't even know if it is blood yet let alone her blood.

Also the parents are being remarkably calm if it is her blood as they will have hundreds of questions to answer....

I don't think the Portugese cops would find one even if it were dumped on the doorsteps of Poilce Headquarters.

I'm surprised to hear of reports from Belgium too. That's the country whose police couldn't find a paedophile killer even when they were searching his house and they heard his imprisoned victims screaming.

Considering the talk elsewhere about libel over some petty stuff re SJD accountancy, it's probably worth being a little more circumspect than calling the McCanns child murderers. You might also feel a bit better about yourself if you turn out to be wrong.

At college I knew someone (not that well) who murdered his girlfriend. He did a re-enactment on Crimewatch of her disappearance, but the police were watching him, how he behaved etc. It's supposed to be quite difficult to hide that you've murdered someone if you're constantly being watched (as I'm sure the McCanns are).

Perhaps, but if no body & no real evidence, then sticking to your story will work.

I reckon that people slip up enough to be caught.

That spoils things for a decent read in The News of the World on Sunday.

The bottle had a man's DNA - so inconclusive, I'd say.
