I'm currently on 350 p/d and refused £50K basic + possible 10% bonus + 15% pension etc a few months ago.
I was earning 45K basic + bonus etc. 5 years ago at Deutsche.
I prefer the contracting lifestyle and will try to get my rate above 400 this year.
Anyway who wants to go through appraisals again and stay late and suck up months before bonus day. Not for me anymore.Comment

Appraisals and associated corporate bollox are the work of Satan. I'd have to be starving before I'd put up with that cr@p again - money doesn't come in to it.Originally posted by TheRightStuffAnyway who wants to go through appraisals again and stay late and suck up months before bonus day. In terms of couses. They are the biggest bore. I've been on 5 day courses and would come back look through a dummies whatever book and find I had done about 9 chapters of the book.Originally posted by XenophonMe too and I completely agree.

By the books and do the training yourself + BS on the CV if your a quick learner.Comment
