The power of apathy... perhaps those closer to home have all they need in life and don't require a working goverment anymore so why bother, or perhaps our goverment has become less and less like a democracy, it makes sense to me you voted for one person and now your getting another, why try and contest that sort of control when you can hide under the cosy arms apathy instead?

Er, that is exactly what we are doing. Although it must be said that "our MPs" that implemented this include Gordon Brown and various other of "your MPs"
