Parents encouraged to use large 4x4's by the government
I needed something large for all my fishing gear and a mountain bike while still having 5 seats.
I also like the fact that I get good visibility when in traffic so I can see when things look bad ahead and take action i.e. everyone hitting their brakes.
I went for a Toyota Hilux because the engine is almost bullet proof and very reliable.
I want to be able to pull a large caravan or boat while still having all my fishing gear and a mountain bike...and 5 seats...
i have to confess that the hippy in me doesn't like 4x4s or huge cars of any description, but that's just an opinion and i can't substantiate it in any serious argument.
what does piss me off hugely is the child seat legislation. my daughter is aged 9 and 1.31m tall. so she's in this bloody stupid booster seat/cushion (whatever) until she either reaches the age of 12, or grows to 1.35m.
we're expecting a baby next month. in the back of my mondeo saloon there's enough room for the baby seat and the booster seat, but how my mother's comfortable 83 year-old girth is going to fit in when we all go out for sunday lunch, god only knows! be thanful for small mercies, i suppose....
They seek him here, they seek him there. He must be playing hide & seek.
And..the 3rd point is an opinion. Your opinion is that they are selfish...most are not, so therefor an opinion.
Most of the 3rd point looks like incontrovertible fact to me:
"they give their owners visibility and (in some circumstances) increased crash protection by increasing height and weight relative to others, consequently taking away visibility and safety from those others."

Not all of it though. "They are selfish/anti-social" is an opinion.....
